Prof DR MOHAMMAD QUAYYUM

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Quayyum is a highly experienced gynecological and laparoscopic surgeon with over four decades of medical experience. He specializes in advanced gynecological laparoscopic surgery and infertility management, with expertise in procedures including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy, cystectomy, and advanced endosuturing. He holds MBBS (1983), FCPS (1994), and FGES (1997, India) and is a registered medical practitioner with BMDC. He has received advanced international training in gynecological laparoscopy, including an AAGL observership in New York under renowned minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon Dr. Farr Nezhat. Prof. Dr. Quayyum is a member of international professional organizations including AAGL and ISGE and has contributed to international academic activities as a visiting faculty member, surgical mentor, scientific reviewer, and conference participant. He has trained and mentored approximately 420 national and 350 international trainees from 25 countries in advanced laparoscopic techniques. He currently serves as Chief Consultant at Feni Private Hospital and Laparoscopy Institute, where he provides specialized laparoscopic and gynecological care with an emphasis on affordable and accessible treatment. He is also recognized for his long-standing commitment to telemedicine, medical education, and providing free healthcare services to underserved patients.
