Privacy Policy

Best Doctor Bangladesh ("we," "us," or "our") operates a free directory of doctors practising in Bangladesh. This policy explains what information we collect from patients and from doctors who use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect only what's needed to run the directory:

• Account information. If you create an account to submit or manage a listing, we collect your name, email address, and phone number.
• Profile information. Name, degrees, designation, workplace, BMDC number, chamber address, phone, website, social links, specialties, photos, and description submitted by doctors.
• Nothing about your health. There is no booking form and no messaging on this site (patients call the chamber directly) so we never receive symptoms, test results, or any other medical information about you.
• Payment information. None. There is no payment gateway on this site. The doctor's one-time registration fee is settled with our team directly, so we never handle or store card or mobile-wallet details here.
• Usage analytics. Basic, non-identifying traffic analytics from our host. We do not track which profiles you look at, and we keep no per-profile view counts.
• Cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

• Operate and maintain the directory, including your account and profiles.
• Send one transactional email when a submitted profile is approved, plus the account notices Supabase sends for sign-up confirmation and password resets.
• Detect and prevent abuse of public forms (e.g. rate-limiting spam submissions).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

These providers process data on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms:

• Supabase: hosts our database, file storage, and account authentication.
• Resend: delivers the profile-approval email.
• Vercel: hosts the site and provides basic, anonymised traffic analytics.

We keep account and listing data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deleting your account unlinks any profiles you own (they stay listed, without an owner) and permanently removes your account. To request deletion of other information we hold about you, email us at info@bestdoctorbd.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below and we'll respond as soon as we can.

Best Doctor Bangladesh is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
